Engineered for success
This is a striking residential development of 280sqm spread over three stories above ground and incorporating a basement level with a light-well to the rear. The design created for this project by its architect/developers makes a feature of the site's angular shape and features triangular angled roofs, stepped triangular balconies and triangular skylights on every floor.
The Elite Designers brief was to minimise the use of internal columns to preserve a sense of space and openness in each of the four apartments. This was achieved by leveraging the external perimeter walls for lateral support. The ground floor slab is used as a transfer slab for the internal structural elements thereby maximising the sense of open space and flow at basement level.
