Merimac is a stylish, contemporary new-build family home located in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Built to high specifications for a sustainable home and featuring luxurious, modern open-plan spaces and plentiful natural light, the build posed a number of engineering challenges largely owing to its hillside location and to the incorporation of elegant cantilever design features and hidden construction details. Elite Designers were responsible for the temporary works and structural engineering designs for this most striking and beautiful of homes.
In October 2017 Merimac was named a Silver Winner in the London Design Awards.
